The holiday train is coming! Check it out if you're in Canada! http://www8.cpr.ca/cms/English/General+Public/Holiday+Train/default.htm

Knowing how much I love funky soft toys and cool drawings, my co-worker forwarded me this link. It's so neat to see what she has created and I LOVE her very unique style of illustrating. Super cool!
I'm excited to introduce my first crochetted monster. I have named him Unloved because no one liked him when he was in-progress and no one liked him when I first showed him around. He's a big hit now, but his sad expression is a reminder of how no one liked him at first. Poor guy!
Okay, okay, so maybe some of the previous sites didn't impress you? Well, here are some really nice looking dolls that I soooo wish I could make myself. Check out this gallery of handmade and custom-made dolls: http://www.devoutdolls.com/gallery.htm
I'm working on a crochetted "monster" right now. He's looking too cute for my original plan, but I'm delighted to see him in progress. I'll post pictures when he's ready to look at.
The second site belongs to a very talented lady. She draws lovely images and sews the most amazing soft toys. I love them and am waiting eagerly for hedgehog stuffies to reappear. I wish I had found this site earlier when she had some of her fantastic soft hedgies available! Her site is http://www.theblackapple.typepad.com/ I also really like her "look". There's something lovely and quaint about it...
The third site belongs to a domestic goddess who also sews many lovely soft toys. But what's really neat about her is that she posts a lot about her children and family. There's something very sweet about the posts, and I think many readers will like to hear about what's going on in her life. Her site is http://www.loobylu.com/ She's going to take a break from writing for a bit, but she has some really wonderful stuff in her archives.
