Christmas Tag Tutorial - Style No. 2

This tutorial shows you how to make the Christmas tag shown above. Here's how to do it.
First, start with a basic tag shape using this Christmas Tag Assortment - Basic Tag Shape Tutorial. This particular tag style was created with square cut tag shapes.

Gather the following supplies:

1. Curling ribbon
2. Hole punch
Punch a hole in the top corner. Be careful not to punch it too close to the edges.
Cut out a long strip of curling ribbon and fold it in half.
Thread the folded end of the ribbon through the hole punched tag.
The folded end of the ribbon forms a loop. Take the loose ends of the ribbon and thread them through this loop.
Pull the loose ends through until the ribbon is snugly attached to the tag. Don't pull too tight or it will wrinkle the tag.
Ta da! Now you can write on your tag and tie it to your Christmas present. You can also curl the ends of the ribbon and use double sided tape to stick the tag to your present instead. Here's what it looks like with a different paper and a skinnier cut tag shape. The possibilities are endless!
