I've been busy preparing all day for the Mytutorlist.com update - it's finally done! The site now has capabilities in the following:
1. Automatic ad posting - I used to update ads manually and it was soooo time consuming! Tutors would also have to wait for me before they could see their ad. Now it's automatic!
2. Hidden email address - more privacy and no more unwanted spam from spam bots!
3. Spam bot protection - there are points of verification now to make sure that spam bots don't automatically submit fake postings
4. Edit your own ads - sign up for a free account and you can edit, delete, or renew your ads anytime
5. Forward postings - forward interesting posts to your friends. Tutors will also get more exposure this way!
6. Improved search features - it's easier than ever to sort through postings and find what you want!
Thank you so much to Maricela Paniagua-Lojero for building the new database - I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to all the parents, tutors, and students that use Mytutorlist.com - you make it all worthwhile! Thank you also to everyone that has given me feedback on the site!
I'm really excited to see how the new database will work and to see how the site users find the new updates. I hope that all the changes will be useful to them and that they'll be able to make many successful tutor-student matches from using the site.
