I went camping on the weekend and it was super fun. We hiked to the beach one day and I wandered the beach line picking up colourful stones. The water felt so icy cool on my feet and I liked the little fishies that were swimming about.
We tried to go berry picking one day of the trip, but the berry farm was well picked over and, after scouring the rows of bushes, I only had 2 small blueberries and 7 raspberries. Disappointed, I went back to the main store and told her it wasn't working out. She offered the berries to me for free eating, but I politely declined. Then we drove out to a nearby farm store we had passed earlier and bought 20 lbs of unsprayed/organic blueberries. I plopped a handful into a cup of water and ate them. They tasted good and made up for my unsuccessful berry picking adventure.
The rest of the trip was fraught with various other adventures including SUPER salty marinated meat from Costco (I washed all the topping off, cut the meat in thin slices, washed them, and it was STILL too salty!!! Maybe I should have boiled it...), two spiders built webs right across our tent entrance overnight and we were too scared to leave the tent (good thing we noticed it before we walked out into their webs! We finally got the courage to open the tent door a crack and wildly wave a shoe around to anhiliate the webbings and wap the spiders out of the way.), and we scored a whole days' worth of free firewood from a previous camper.
We had to hurry home on Sunday for a friend's engagement party, but that turned out to be very fun too.
When I finally got a moment's time after unpacking and doing laundry, I sat down to peek at my tutoring website to see how the Project Wonderful ads were performing. There are 3 available advertising spots and they're running at 1 cent, 2 cent, and 3 cents per day. That's not bad for a start! So someone will have to bid 2 cent, 3 cent, and 4 cent per day to outbid the current advertisers. I'm excited to see how these ads will perform over time since it's fun to see who the current highest bidder is and how many people are bidding at the time. I think it's the dynamic nature of these ads that I'm fascinated by.
I hope you all had a great weekend.

Sounds like you had a fun time on the week-end. Sometimes it's nice to get away and do something different..especially if it includes entertaining the local spiders! :D I'll bet they had a good chuckle.
Oh I love fresh berries!! Glad to hear that you got some after all!!
Lol! I'm glad the local spiders had a good chuckle at my expense. At least someone was laughing!!!
