Making Your Packaging Memorable

As you can see, packaging up goodies from my shop is a labour of love. I like it when others put effort into their packaging so I make sure that mine is very special and unique. I think my favourite part is folding the little origami bird and drawing on it. Each little bird is one-of-a-kind since it's hand-drawn, and it's fun for me!

I'm starting to run out of mulberry paper, which makes me very sad. It's so pretty! I hope the new owner of these "Felt Owl" stickers will like them. I've always really liked their unique shape and how vivid they look, and I'm glad that they have found a new home :)

Do you put a lot of effort into your packaging? Tell me about it! I'm always looking for goodies that come with some really nice or creative packaging.

Have a happy day!

To the Printers and Back!

I'll admit it, I dread going to the printers. I fear long lines, mistakes, and monsters that hide in the printers (or work there). So it was with much trepidation that I trudged my way through the snow cluttered sidewalks and entered the print shop. Eeeps!

Lo and behold, there were no line ups today. I walked up, handed over my disc, and a very pleasant young lady asked me which files to print and how many. Only a few minutes later, she returned with my beloved prints - the now colorful stickers, and my very lovely bookmarks. I was actually really, really pleased with how the pumpkin bookmark turned out. It's so vibrant!

I hurried home to ooh and aah over the print outs and immediately went to task in cutting my stickies out. It was so fun!

My very first packet of these stickies is now available in the shop!

My most favourite part was how prettily my "for you from bluepandemonium" stickies turned out. Ahh, bliss!

Gloomy Saturday

It's a gloomy, rainy Saturday. There's not much to do, and that makes me melancholy. I listed some new stickers, chat a bit with fellow Etsians, and did some laundry so far.

What are you doing this Saturday afternoon?

These are 2 new sticker sets in the shop:

Felt Owl Stickers

Aha! More stickers! This is my favourite set out of all the different sticker sets I'll be posting as I go. I love the subtle stripey brown cardstock backing with the trees (which I drew on by hand). The owl stickers turned out so bright and perfect that I'm really quite pleased.

They're flying around happily in the shop.

Starting today, 10% of all purchases from Blue Pandemonium will go towards feeding those in need. There's a shortage at the local foodbank because the usual donors are cutting back. Unfortunately, the number of hungry people is going up!

I encourage everyone to take some time and effort out to drop off an unperishable food item at their local foodbank. It doesn't have to be a lot, but every little bit helps. (As a perpetual-scrounger-of-foodstuff, the idea of truly hungry people hits a chord.) Please give.

Stickers for the Masses (Okay, maybe just for me and a few others)

I've been collecting stickers for a long time now. First it was just for the heck of it, now it's for scrapbooking (and just for the heck of it). You can imagine my delight then to create my very own stickers from my artwork. Eeeeeee! I'm actually QUITE excited.

I have a few more sets a-coming, but here is the first one - Mrs. McRooney's Mice!

Ah, so cute! I'm so happy with how they turned out. These stickers are high-quality laser prints, hand-cut by me! Just peel and stick!

All ready for gift-giving in the shop!
