Off In A Boat To Beooootiful Alaska

That's right! It was so fun last time that we're doing Alaska again! Fine dining, whales, sunshine, relaxing, live shows nightly... aaahhh! I can hardly wait. I'm probably going to gain a gazillion pounds, but I'm determined to work it all off afterward. There is a dress-up night so I thought I'd whip out the old bridesmaid's dress from my best friend's wedding. Surprise, surprise, it doesn't fit anymore - not even close! Aaagghh!

Well, what can you do when you start to get older? The metabolism starts to slow down and it's just waaaay too easy to pack on the pounds. I think it's time to do some pavement pounding when I get back. Maybe I can persuade a friend to go jogging with me, or join some pals for some tennis.

Because you know what happens if I don't start working off the pounds now? I'll have more handles for gravity to pull down on!

Hehehe... I hope you have a great week. I'll tell you all about the trip when I get back next Monday.

Cheers!

Wonderful Paper Supplies For Your Crafting Cravings

It's been busy, busy, busy lately! I had a big custom order for scrapbooking paper supplies so I made up a lot of new products that I didn't offer before. Here's a peek at some of the new items now available in the store!First up, flower and leaf paper cut outs made from high quality acid-free, lignin-free scrapbooking paper. They look amazing (and they photograph so well!) I'm really happy with how they turned out.
Next, cardstock hearts. They look so pretty in these colours and I think they come in handy for all your scrapbooking, card making, tags, and other crafts. I cut them out by hand, if you can believe it, so they are each unique and have lots of character.
With paper punch in hand, I set out to make new 2 inch round die cuts... I'm loving this colour combination of tender greens, blues, and that delightful spotted grey. And this set of greens, reds, and black with white spots is divine. There's something about them, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I love them.
Ah, and here are the new paper scrap packs! They are selling well already! There's this lovely romantic pink floral scrap pack...
A golden antique floral scrap pack...And a vintage ephemera designed paper scrap pack with lots of wonderful old fashioned print designs!

I have had so much fun making these cut outs and scrap packs! I hope you like them too. Oh, and did you notice? I'm getting better at taking pictures! (Well, I'm trying anyways...)

Have a wonderful week!

Paper Butterflies For A Pretty Butterfly Mobile

A customer sent me a photo of a paper butterfly mobile that they wanted to make for their daughter's room. She wanted to know if I could cut out some butterflies in a sturdy black and white paper for her to try it out with. So if you fancy trying it out yourself, there are now some cardstock black and white butterflies in the shop.

If you need another colour, just let me know and I'll see if I have some in my paper stash.
In other news, I retook the pictures for the recycled black and white (text) paper butterfly cut outs. I think this looks much better. What do you think?

Have a great weekend!

Recycling Goodness - Paper Butterflies and Circles

In a frenzy of creative energy, I sat myself down and began to cut up paper. Out poured circles of recycling power and fluttering butterflies in black and white. (They actually did flutter, by the way, as I waved pages past them. I found it quite mesmerizing and waved the paper at them some more.)Little piles of cardboard circles began to pile tall, and my recycling pile began to shrink as it transformed from something to BE recycled into something that WAS recycled! And now they sit, waiting to be discovered in my shop. What will you do with them?

Have a happy day!
