New Paper Goodies In The Shop!

Time off means lots of fun working on new things for the shop!
Check out how cute these hearts are!  They are made from recycled envelope paper.
I needed something to write the number of items in packages and this was a really cute way to do it.  If you have a paper punch, consider making some of your own!  They look like so much fun and I have been using quite a lot of them.

I happened to find a pink envelope and that was one of the best parts  :)
I have also been making 3D paper flowers!
I needed a few big ones to make a mother's day card and now I have a whole collection of them!
I sell the petal layers in my shop, so you can make some too!
You can choose them in different designs and colours.
Look at all the different flower designs I made!  There are matching leaves too!
Purple butterflies are now in the shop too.
I have them available in assorted small sizes and some big ones too.  They are perfect for writing messages on and hanging from a decorative tree at a wedding or baby shower.
Speaking of wedding decor, the classic white butterflies that I used to carry in my shop are back!
I have designed a few new shapes as well so you have more options!
F is the classic butterfly shape, but look at all the other options!
I even made some swallowtail butterfly shapes.  They are quite lovely.
I also made a few more detailed shapes.  I am quite pleased with how they turned out.
I tested a few of the shapes out and they look quite good.
My favourite were the monarch butterflies.  This monarch butterfly has rounded wing tips.
This one has scalloped, more pointed wing tips.

They both turned out quite lovely.
I made a few SUPER detailed butterflies.
They look amazing, but they cannot be made in small sizes.  The details are so fine that they must be made large or the details will turn to mush in the machine!  I'm going to test out a big one soon.  I think they would look nice on a card.

I have been busy!  What do you think of all the new paper products?

As a side comment, let me know if you need these shapes in dxf, silhouette cameo, jpeg, pdf, or other formats.  You can contact me through my shop for more details.

Cheerio!

Paper Butterfly Bonanza

Prepare for butterfly overload. While I've been recovering from final exams, I've been cutting paper butterflies.
I now carry blue, green, and yellow paper butterflies in the shop.
Paper butterflies in green shades that look so pretty! I am loving these fresh green colours!
Peach shades that make you feel mellow and good...
These green paper butterflies are 2.5 inch cards that open up to 5 inch wide butterflies. They are perfect for your creative ideas! You can make tags, mini cards, decorate your home and party, scrapbook, and many other ideas.
For instance, you can make mini birthday ninja cards! I do love my ninjas :)
And my life wouldn't be complete without a set of these in those lovely green colours :)

All of these paper butterflies are happily waiting for you in my shop. Hop on over to enjoy some paper butterfly loveliness.

Paper Butterflies For A Pretty Butterfly Mobile

A customer sent me a photo of a paper butterfly mobile that they wanted to make for their daughter's room. She wanted to know if I could cut out some butterflies in a sturdy black and white paper for her to try it out with. So if you fancy trying it out yourself, there are now some cardstock black and white butterflies in the shop.

If you need another colour, just let me know and I'll see if I have some in my paper stash.
In other news, I retook the pictures for the recycled black and white (text) paper butterfly cut outs. I think this looks much better. What do you think?

Have a great weekend!

Recycling Goodness - Paper Butterflies and Circles

In a frenzy of creative energy, I sat myself down and began to cut up paper. Out poured circles of recycling power and fluttering butterflies in black and white. (They actually did flutter, by the way, as I waved pages past them. I found it quite mesmerizing and waved the paper at them some more.)Little piles of cardboard circles began to pile tall, and my recycling pile began to shrink as it transformed from something to BE recycled into something that WAS recycled! And now they sit, waiting to be discovered in my shop. What will you do with them?

Have a happy day!

Look Who's Visiting! A Monarch Butterfly!

I slowly edged up to the large, timid butterfly perched precariously on my vivid cosmos. This was going to be the photograph of the century. I raised my camera, adjusted the settings... RING-RING-RING! I jumped, and the butterfly took off into the air. "Aw, drats!" I exclaimed. "This better be a VERY important phone call!"

It was V. calling to say hi. I told him the inopportune moment that he had called at, and he was very sorry that he had scared away my perfect butterfly Kodak moment. Looking out his window, he noted that there was not one but TWO monarch butterflies taking lunch among his lilies. He made a haste goodbye and promised butterfly pictures.

But a few minutes later, I had butterfly pictures in my inbox. Ah, how lovely! V. had held true to his word.

And now here they are for your enjoyment as well. I have used one full-sized image as my desktop and it looks GLORIOUS! I love it! Thanks, V.
